Itinerary
Day 1 SEOUL – GAPYEONG – MT. SEORAKSAN (-/L/-)
Meeting with our tour guide at Myeongdong station(Exit 2) at 09:00am and move to Gapyeong to visit The garden of morning calm which is one of Korea's major botanical gardens, attracting about 700,000 tourists from home and abroad annually. Move to Mt. Seoraksan to visit Sinheungsa temple and Gwongeumseong fortress by cable car. Daecheongbong Peak in Seoraksan Mountain, at 1708 meters, is the highest peak among the Taebaek mountain range, providing amazing view all year round. From various flowers in spring, clear and fresh stream water in summer, fall foliage in fall, and snow covered mountain in winter, Seoraksan Mountain is the most beautiful mountain in Korea. NaeSeorak or Inner Seorak, stretches from the boarderline of Hangyeryeong Pass and Misiryeong Pass to Inje-gun in the west. Inner Seorak. Day 2 MT. SEORAKSAN – DANYANG - YEONGJU (B/L/-)
After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer to DANYANG to visit Danyang river jando trail which is a 1.2-kilometer-long trekking path along the Namhangang River. With an amazing view of the surrounding area, the trail is a must-walk when visiting Danyang. There are various attractions nearby, including Mancheonha Skywalk and Suyanggae Light Tunnel, offering a tour experience that covers geology and history. Proceed to Yeongju to make Korean traditional rice wine Which is a Korean alcoholic beverage and visit rice wine brewery. The milky, off-white and lightly sparkling rice wine has a slight viscosity that tastes slightly sweet, tangy, bitter, and astringent. Visit Sosuseowon Confucian academy [UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE] which was the first to receive a royal charter as a private Confucian academy along with financial support and acknowledgement by the king. Day 3 YEONGJU – YEONGDEOK – GYEONGJU (B/L/-)
After Breakfast, you will meet with the tour guide and transfer to Yeongdeok to experience the traditional martial art of Korea.(Taekwondo). Driving 918 coastal road. Visit Sunrise observatory and Samsa marine park which is located south of Gangguhang Port, overlooking the expansive East Sea. Thanks to its picturesque beauty and variety of facilities, the park is a favorite weekend picnic spot for families. Major facilities include Theme Land, Happy Land, a performance hall, bungalows, restaurants, and stores. There is even an artificial waterfall and a 20 ton-rock carved with floral patterns that add an extra element of unique beauty. Transfer to Gyeongju Yangdong folk village [UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE] which is Korea’s largest traditional village, showcasing the traditional culture of the Joseon Dynasty and the beautiful natural surroundings. Thanks to its many cultural heritages, including treasures, national treasures, and folklore materials, the entire village has been designated as a cultural heritage site. Many people have visited this village to see its wealth of cultural heritages and scenic surroundings. Charles, Prince of Wales, visited this village in 1993. Overnight in Gyeongju
Day 4 GYEONGJU - BUSAN (B/L/-)
After breakfast, meeting with the tour guide and visit Daereungwon tomb complex (Cheonmachong tomb) which consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. Cheomseongdae observatory which is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia, Hwangridangil street, National museum, Donggung palace and wolji pond which was a secondary palace used by the crown prince of the Silla Kingdom. Bulguksa temple [UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE] which is a representative relic of Buddhist culture from the Silla kingdom. The temple was built in 528 BC during the 15th year of King Beop-heung's reign (514-540) to wish for peace and prosperity for all. Proceed to Busan. Overnight in Busan.
